What We Measure ?
And why?
Our training sessions are just the mechanism, not the impact we measure. We track outcomes that actually show lives: income, self-reliance and livelihoods.

What We Measure? And why?
The Target We’re Working Toward
50000
By 2036, we aim to reach 50,000 youth, women, displaced people, and host communities with skills, financial inclusion, or livelihood support and see at least
70%
of them report increased income or self-reliance. These aren’t projections pulled from a grant proposal; they’re the specific outcomes we report against every year.
2022
Founded in 2022 by former refugees and returnees, Luckista Unite built the Skills to Income Pathway from firsthand experience of economic exclusion. That’s part of why we measure what we measure: people who’ve lived through short-term assistance that didn’t last know the difference between a number that looks good in a report and a number that means someone’s life actually changed.
How We Measure
Training sessions delivered and people “reached” are easy numbers to report,
but they don’t tell you whether anyone’s life actually changed. Here’s our focus:
Income earned.
Savings accumulated.
Businesses started or grown.
Someone reports feeling more self-reliant than before.
Our Stories
She started with one skill and the will to survive.
With the right support: training, a savings group, a connection to the market that skill became income. That income became stability. And that stability became something bigger: the ability to plan for tomorrow, not just get through today.
